About
What are Air Plants?
Air Plants, or Tillandsia, are a genus of Bromeliads that grow without soil. They are naturally found in warm regions of North, Central, and South America hanging in trees growing as epiphytes, or as a plant that grows on another plant without being a parasite.
Tillandsia have adapted specialized leaves that allows them to take in nutrients via trichomes, or microscopic hairs, on their leaves' surface.
Air plants are angiosperms, which means they produce flowers and can grow and spread seeds. They can also reproduce by creating clones of themselves, called pups or offsets.

Rebecca, Owner & Plant Boss (she/hers)
Plants are more than a product to me; they are mood boosters, nourishment, therapy, and a satisfying tactile experience in a screen-filled world. Just as Mother Earth is for all people, my wish for you is to experience, learn, and appreciate the countless benefits and beauty of the plant world.
